Building an American Energy Storage Company

TeraStor Energy is an American battery energy-storage company headquartered in Massachusetts.

The current company was formed in 2026 following the acquisition of energy-storage assets, technology and intellectual property developed over multiple generations.

Our team combines decades of energy-storage experience with new work in software, AI infrastructure and global manufacturing partnerships.

What We Are Building

Our strategy is straightforward.

What we keep in-house
We control the parts of the energy storage system where we believe the most value is created: system architecture, battery controls, energy management software and intellectual property.
Who we build with
We work with qualified manufacturing and supply-chain partners around the world rather than trying to own every factory ourselves. This gives us flexibility to build around the requirements of each market and customer.
How our systems run
StorOS provides the software layer for operating TeraStor systems and, over time, third-party energy assets.
Where we are heading
We are also building Kinetra, our AI data centers operations platform, to connect energy infrastructure with the systems consuming it. The initial focus is AI infrastructure, where power, compute and facility operations are increasingly connected.
How we work with you
On the commercial side, we work directly with customers to originate projects and solve real power problems. Where it helps a qualified project move forward, we can also work with project and capital partners.

Our goal is not simply to sell batteries. It is to build the hardware and software platform that helps customers deploy and manage energy infrastructure at scale.

Where Our Technology Comes From

TeraStor’s technology has roots that predate the current company.

Members of our engineering team and predecessor organizations participated in some of the industry’s early large-scale lithium-ion energy-storage deployments.

That experience now forms part of the technical foundation of TeraStor.
