Healthcare & Critical FacilitiesEnergy Storage Built for Critical Operations
We help healthcare and critical facilities stay powered, cut operating costs, and run on their own terms with outdoor battery storage and intelligent controls.

WHY ENERGY STORAGE
Your Backup System Should Work More Than a Few Hours a Year
Hospitals, healthcare facilities, campuses and other critical infrastructure need energy systems that balance resilience with everyday operating economics. TeraStor works with customers to integrate BESS alongside existing electrical infrastructure, onsite generation and backup systems.
Healthcare
Energy storage can support peak management, solar integration and resilience while working alongside existing emergency-power systems.
Critical Facilities
Campuses, public infrastructure and other critical facilities can use storage to manage energy cost and provide additional operational flexibility.
Site-First Design
Critical-power requirements vary significantly by facility. We review the existing electrical architecture, generator configuration, load profile and applicable requirements before recommending a storage solution.
Two Different Energy Demand Profiles
Senior care and outpatient buildings carry different obligations and earn their return in different places. TeraStor S Series is configured for each.

Recommended Hardware
Two Sizes, One Service
Sized to the building, not to a catalog. Both self-contained. Both outdoors.

TeraStor S300
261 kWh in a compact outdoor enclosure — for outpatient facilities and smaller residential-care buildings.
- Pad-mounted outdoor enclosure — no interior battery room required
- Sited clear of egress, resident windows and outside-air intakes
- AC-coupled behind the meter; utility metering left exactly as it is

TeraStor S800
783 kWh (375 kW AC) — for continuing-care campuses, larger nursing facilities and multi-tenant outpatient properties.
- Scales in parallel units as the campus grows
- Serves several tenants behind a single meter
- Thermal runaway contained at the individual cell level
STOROS™ SOFTWARE
When the Grid Fails, the Building Keeps Running
StorOS watches your battery all day, so you always know how long the building can stand on its own.

Backup, Live
StorOS tells you how many hours of backup power you have right now.
Tests & Early Warnings
It tracks scheduled tests and flags problems before they turn into outages.
One Shared Log
Every alert and action is logged in one place, so your team never has to guess.
The TeraStor Solution
What You Get Beyond the Battery
Works With Your Generator
Energy storage carries critical loads through the transition while the engine starts, and reduces demand-related cost in the months between outages.
No Battery Room, No Fuel
Self-contained outdoor enclosures on a pad. No interior space converted, no fuel deliveries, no combustion emissions. Thermal events are contained at the individual cell level.
The Records Are Kept for You
TeraStor logs energy storage tests and events automatically and keeps commissioning documents, listings and responder information in one place, alongside generator records where available.
One Estate, One View
StorOS brings every site into one view, showing savings, readiness, performance and open alerts, so regional facilities teams know where to look first.
Before You Ask
The Questions Facility Operators Ask First
Senior Care
For senior care, no. Where an emergency generator is required, TeraStor is designed to work alongside the system already on site. Energy storage can support the transition to generator power and provide additional operating value during normal facility operation.
Outpatient
For outpatient facilities without a generator obligation, battery energy storage may also be considered as an alternative to installing a new generator.
Working With TeraStor
How an Engagement Runs
Site Review
One building at a time: load profile, demand costs, the existing generator, critical-load requirements, site conditions and portfolio fit. We return a savings analysis within days.
S Series Deployment
Once permits clear with the city, we deploy the S Series on the pad and configure StorOS around your facility — commissioned, connected to reporting and measured. Your emergency-power system is not modified to do it.
Ongoing Operation
The system runs on its own. StorOS dispatches daily, holds the resilience reserve, then reports savings alongside readiness month to month. The hardware is monitored around the clock, so issues surface before your team ever notices them.
